Black Company
The Black Company is an antagonistic group appearing in the background story of KartRider: Drift.
Summary
The Black Company is a three-man criminal syndicate consisting of Viktor and the Raptor Brothers, L and R. They drive the Mafia, a model of kart armed with a pair of machine guns and other insidious devices.
Starting Line
In Episode 3 of Starting Line, they hired the young hacker Kris to help them steal the Legend Cup, with Viktor desiring its power for his own evil ambitions. Raptor R and Kris are sent out to Boom Hill Village to steal the coveted trophy during the Legend Cup Grand Prix Parade being held there. Raptor R acted as the getaway driver in his Mafia, which had a cargo trailer hooked to it, from which Kris was to snatch the Legend Cup in a grab-and-run. However, just as they managed to steal the Legend Cup, local milk delivery driver Dao intervened and pursued them through the village, as depicted in Episode 1, forcing them to swerve through a turn in a way that caused the cargo trailer to detach and Kris and R to escape without their prize.
KartRider: Drift
In the time since the WKC, the Black Company recovered the Legend Cup in Moonhill City, and knowing that the Rabbit Hole gang is also after it, they came up with a plan. After Rabbit Hole arrived in the city, Viktor commands the Raptor Brothers to distract Rex and Derek while he lures Miso into a trap with the Legend Cup. However, Viktor underestimated Miso. Just as he had caught her with a Tractor Beam, she activates her Eclipse Alpha's autopilot, causing it to fly toward him. He was forced to dodge it, causing him to drop the Legend Cup, as well as his toupee to come off.

Trivia
- They first appeared in the Black update for the original Crazy Racing KartRider game, where they acted as the antagonists who sought to obtain the Constellation Tablets, and were opposed by Dao and friends.
