Kris
This genius hacker is in it for kicks. Kris may have joined forces with some questionable characters, but she really just wants to have fun.
In-game description
Kris, also known by her hacker alias SMILE is a character in KartRider: Drift. She is unlocked for all players by default.
Summary
Character Skill
Kris's character skill is Banana Hack. When activated, Kris hacks all of her opponents, represented by a graphic of Kris's head on a CRT monitor appearing above other players' heads and highlighting an item in their possession. After a few seconds, the highlighted item will be replaced by a Banana. If a racer uses their highlighted item before it's replaced, or if they had no items when the hack began, the hack against that racer will fail, represented with Kris's head replaced with "X" eyes on the monitor and a droning error sound. Kris will then gain a Boost if she successfully hacked between one and three players, or a Siren if she hacked four or more.
Cooldown: 21/19.9/18.8/17.7/16.6 seconds.
Emotes
- Victorious: (Standing) Kris punches her right hand with her left, then the reverse, then gives a thumbs up while raising a leg and winking. (Sitting) Kris pumps her fist as a musical note bubble appears near her, then dabs and winks.
- Sad: Kris holds her hands below her eyes and sobs. She then wipes her visible eye.
- Angry: Kris balls her fists and shakes with anger, then holds her hands up, bent into claws as if to scare someone.
- Surprised: Kris recoils as sweat drips down her head and her eye twitches.
- Amused: Kris laughs with one hand on her stomach and the other raised, which she swings down in an "oh, you" gesture.
- Affectionate: A pixelated skull and smiley face appear as Kris twirls and pulls out a tablet. She faces the screen forward as an animation of a heart quickly appears over cracking software.
- Showboat: Kris stands with one hand on her hip and the other fiddling with her hair, blows a bubblegum bubble, then shrugs as the bubble pops.
- Bored: (Standing) Kris stretches, but pulls a muscle in her side with a cracking sound. She repeatedly taps her side with her fist. (Sitting) Kris is barely able to keep herself from falling asleep.
